Why should I register?

Anyone can read messages on the forum, but you must register in order to post or reply to messages. Other benefits to registration are:

1. Subscriptions: Subscriptions automatically inform you about activity on the forums via email. You can also subscribe to individual threads in a forum. This means that you will know right away when someone answers your posts.

2. You can post your profile on the board for others to see.

Why are there lots of messages dated 2/20/00?

This is the date that the new version of the forum was created. These messages are the posts that were moved over manually from the previous board.  We apologize to any of you who posted on the old forums and lost your post. We did our best to move all of the old posts over.

What about my privacy?

You are asked for your name, email address, and some other profile information when you register to the forum. This information is made available to other subscribers if you allow it (see "View User Profiles" from the Lobby). If you don't want your information known, don't register or use a nickname.
