Here are some answers to your frequently asked questions to help you on your way:

Why should I register?

Registration to the forums is optional. You don't have to register to read messages or to post. But, you must register in order to have a profile or to see the profiles of others.

1. (due to a bug in the forum software, subscriptions are currently not working) You can subscribe to any or all of the forums. If you subscribe, you will automatically informed about activity on the forums via email. You can also subscribe to individual threads in a forum. This means that you will know right away when someone answers your posts.

2. You can post your profile on the board for others to see.

Why are there lots of messages dated 2/20/00?

This is the date that the new version of the forum was created. These messages are the posts that were moved over manually from the previous board.  We apologize to any of you who posted on the old forums and lost your post. We did our best to move all of the old posts over.

What about my privacy?

You are asked for your name, email address, and some other profile information when you register to the forum. This information is made available to all who use the forums (see "View User Profiles" from the Lobby). If you don't want your information known, don't register or use a nickname.
