Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of proposals
• Involvement in assessment and planning of major bridges
• Major contributor to preliminary engineering of new bridges
• Familiar with bridge rehabilitation strategies and life cycle cost analysis
• Independent detailed design and design check of new bridges
• Load evaluation of existing bridge structures (concrete and steel elements)
• Preparation of drawings and specifications on bridge projects
• Preparation of tender documents including cost estimates
• Construction and post-construction engineering
• Assist in identification and development of new business opportunities

Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree or higher in Structural Engineering is required
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, direct experience with Alberta Transportation is preferred
Working experience with CHBDC CSA-S6
• Registered as P.Eng. with APEGGA
