The Boston office of HDR is looking for a new member for their structural engineering team. They are working on some very exciting bridge projects, including a moveable bridge project. As part of our growing group you will work on complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification or standard engineering techniques and procedures. Duties will also include structural analysis and bridge design. Performs bridge rating and plans bridge rehabilitation. We are looking for a fully experienced, competent engineer who can make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures. May function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects but project management is not sole focus of position. Requires a bachelors degree in Structural Engineering and 7+ years of experience in bridge design, rating and inspection. Experience with moveable bridges would be a significant plus. Must have prior experience with LARSA, Excel, BSDI, CONSPAN, STEELBRIDGE and AUTOCAD.
