"Can someone identify this bridge for me?"

Well I thought I made a suspension bridge but then I checked over the information on suspension bridges and this doesn't seem to fit the criteria.

Here's the bridge I made out of toothpicks.

At the time I made the bridge, I was at a website that showed something very similar to what I made and it was labeled as a suspension bridge. Now I'm not sure anymore but I won't have enough time to actually buidl another bridge. If it's a different type of bridge please do tell me.

Thanks for any help given.

Looks like an arch made of truss elements to me. Very nice design! Are you going to test it?

Yes I will test it in a day or two.
So this would be considered as an arch bridge?

Most definitely an arch made of truss elements - in the vein of the one shown here: http://www.richmangalleries.com/arch_bridges.htm

One tip: From the picture it looks like the rectangular sections underneath the arch are not reinforced by cross bracing. You might want to consider adding braces to make your structure more stable.

Cheers!
