"Bridge with 3 load points."
 
   I am in the NAtional Science Olympiad competitiona and am desinging a bridge from bass and balsa wood. The center load point is 17.5 cm from the edges, and the others are 8 cm to either side. With the Model Smart programI can make a bridge wit a 1022.75 efficency in the middle, but only about 200 on the sides. Any design help and tips will be aprreciated.

   Hello Alex,

I am in the Science Olympiad Tower building event, and did Bridge for 4 years.

I am not familiar with the Model Smart program. But have you looked into this site?

Are you planning on using both Balsa and Basswood for your bridge?

   I can use a combination, or one or the other. I am using whatever works best.

   when making a tower at that site, what nodes do you use for the base?
