   I'm doing the same exact project for physics! how sweet! but my dimensions aren't quite the same. but we could still help each other out? right? i was thinking of going with the whole arched look too. maybe we can get together some time talk bridges and stuff. let me know. you have my email so i'll talk to you later babe.

I once built an arch bridge from Basswood, which is similar to Balsa. It was 35cm long, weighed 9.47 grams, and held 15kg. The height of the arch was about 1/6 of the span. If you'd like to see a picture of it, email me.
