Our bridge group designs new road, rail and transit bridges for domestic and international clients. We also specialize in the seismic design and retrofitting and rehabilitation of existing bridges. In response to new business and an expanding client base, we are looking for a Bridge Structural Manager for our Vancouver office.

Responsibilities:

Leadership of project team, including interfacing with various company departments as required
Liaison with customers, contractors and regulatory authorities
Identify areas for business development and customer satisfaction
Manage projects
Develop cost-effective structural design solutions
Analyse of bridges and other structural projects
Prepare proposals, preliminary designs and detailed engineering specifications
Other engineering responsibilities as they relate to design, engineering and construction
Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred
Registered Professional Engineer
A minimum of 15 years experience in Bridge Design and Structural Engineering
Proven experience preparing bridge engineering and other structural reports, specifications and contract projects
Familiarity with BC Ministry of Transportation standards, P3 delivery and bridge codes
Good proposal preparation skills
Excellent analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Detail oriented with close attention to detail and accuracy
