"Bridge Management and Monitoring"

I am a structural engineering student pursuing research on vibration-based bridge monitoring. I am interested in seeing if bridge monitored data could be fed into bridge management softwares and be a part of the condition assesment / inspection tab. Please share your thoughts about this and also general ways of linking bridge monitoring and bridge management. I think if we can achieve a good linkage, then bridge monitoring will have a direct application and be useful in the routine maintenance of bridges.
