"Modeling of Bearings in SAP2000"
 
   Can anybody suggest me how to model different types of bearing in SAP2000?

   Bearing support can be modeling by spring siffness (in local coordinat system). The spring used can be linear or non linear (P-y) in Force/Length units.To represent transversal/sliding behaviour, you must have these data type of bearing (e.g rubber) from manufacture. These topics was covered by Shervin Maleki from Bradley University (you can searching at http://www.civenv.unimelb.edu.au/ejse/) Hope this help
